The IV World Green Festival on Traditional Wrestling Sports “2200 Years Taskhent Anniversary” took place on October 22-30, 2009 in Tashkent / Uzbekistan. More than 300 participants from 4 continents take place in the festival organized in partnership with UNSECO. The festival includes following activities: Sport: 8th World Senior Belt Wrestling Championships (free and classical styles) 1st World Senior Belbogli Kurash Championships 1st World Veteran Belt Wrestling Championships 3rd Asian Senior Belt Wrestling & Ju-Jitsu Championships 1st Asian Cadet Belt Wrestling & Ju-Jitsu Championships Culture: Demonstration of Traditional Wrestling Sports from five continents Youth folklore festival Exposition of the Cultural articles of the Asian continent Science: Conference TSG – effective instrument in socio-economic society development and peace building process Environment: “Plant for Planet” – trees planting action, 2,200 trees was planted for Tashkent anniversary by all participants and local students.
